Trip down memory lane VHS style!

I’m sweating to death here in the SoCal heatwave cleaning my garage.
I rediscovered this tub of VHS music videos. These tapes were instrumental in wooing my wife. When we first started dating I was a broke navy guy and she was a broke college student. We’d often make dinner at my place and spent the evening watching these tapes.

Moz! The funny thing is that back in the day I used to trade or buy live concerts (the term was bootleg!) with other music fans. Now all that stuff is on YouTube.

Same…. I remember driving an hour away to meet some guy in a restaurant parking lot, to trade a Dave Matthews’s band live show burnt cd for a Moz show burnt cd.
But I actually went to the show, so for me, totally worth it!!
Ahh the days of Internet buy/sell/trade forums

I had some friends that would trade in the bootlegs, was always interesting to watch them.

Everything that I ever traded for, eg, Smiths, My Bloody Valentine, Stone Roses, etc, is now all on YouTube
