What do you guys do about the rusted through floors? I have seen people use pieces of sheetmetal and rtv. Welding compkete sheets over the floor. Etc. I have a flux core welder if welding is the best way to fix it up. Just wondering how everybody else is taking care of this.

cutting out and welding is generally the best idea, and then properly prepping/coating the panel so it doesnt rust up again. depends on how much you wanna do. little holes like that you could probably fill with JB weld and call it a day.

Is there any typical thickness of panel for that? Or just cut out and measure the existing panel and find the same alumulemu panel to replace it with.

its just sheet metal, you can probably buy floor pans pre stamped to fit or just find some sheet metal the same thickness and weld it in.

Cutting and welding. Not too difficult if you’re enough in love with this to be detail oriented with it.
