Worth modding an Audi A4?

I drive a 2014 Audi A4 2.0L Turbo Diesel (S-Line, Quattro) and I love it. I’ve always loved the idea of modding up a car but im fairly new to it all. Is it worth to do anything to my car performance wise? Or looks wise (stance, lowered, body kit)? OR just keep it as is and save up for something worth modding? Thanks guys :)

I had a b8 a4. A honeycomb grill and 17.5mm wheel spacers made a huge difference in the look. I really liked it. You can tune your diesel and still pull crazy mileage out of it. Ecs has everything you need to make it fun, it's a great platform, don't know about the diesel, but the 2.0 has a 45/55 power split making it a touch tail happy, but it handled closer to a RWD car when it broke loose but snapped back quicker with no effort.
If you're in an area with highly rutted highways I recommend the 17.5 wheel spacers. Where I live you either had one side or the other in the rut. But worth the spacers it felt stable like you weren't just going between the rut on the left or the rut on the right

You are better off preparing for the next car so you can have it all modded up and not have to wait

Performance: depends on your specific engine and location. Many times turbo diesels can pick up decent power from a tune and a few simple changes. Legality may be an issue. Try googling "Audi A4 diesel tune", that sort of thing. Learn what engine and transmission you have.
Body kit: people underestimate the cost of paint and body work. Plus, aftermarket parts usually don't fit well. Id expect just a front bumper to cost well over $1000 if done correctly.
Maintenance: boring, but underrated and necessary. Make your car feel like 2014 again.
Tires: good ones are worth it.

2L TDI that are supposed to deliver 150hp, are often giving more than 160hp, sometimes 170.
190/200 are usually quite easy to reach with a simple chip tunning

sweet thank you

EGR delete and tune the sucker. Make sure your location is legal for that.
But realistically if it’s mainly a daily, a nice sport shocks and lowering springs, wheels/tires, uprated brake pads would tighten it up and make it more OE+.
Not a fan of stance or body kits, but to each their own. Please no stretched tires on the street.

haha i appreciate the comment, will keep it in mind thanks

Yeah just tighten up the suspension. Put a stiffer rear sway bar on

The A4 is a nice commuter car... So just don't. Get it detailed and ceramic coated if you want to spend money.

yeah you have a point

if your new to modding, do good wheels and tires and upgraded brakes, and then get a cash car to have as a backup/sh*tbox before you do any major mods.
then go through and do any minor or major maintenance needed, anything from fluid changes to timing jobs, using high quality parts and fluids where possible (I like AMSOIL for fluids and filters, if they sell it then its a good product, and the diesel oil bypass filters they have are AMAZING)
then, go through the suspension and upgrade bushings and shocks, maybe even doing a Coil over conversion or air ride conversion if that's your thing, then get a tune to crank that little TDI up, you can get a lot out of those little monsters. should you expect to be gapping hellcats? No. But you will definitely notice the change. make sure it's a clean tune but go ahead and delete the DPF, EGR, and SCR systems if allowed in your area. huge power gains and increased reliability.

I'd say, at best, cosmetic mods and leave the rest be. The engine isn't worth modding.

Are you looking to devalue the car for any specific reason?

Maintain it well and get good tires.
