Is there a hardcore scene in dallas?

I thought they were from Dallas since they played a lot of local shows here and weren’t billed as touring. I guess me and certain localities have a lot to catch up on

Watch Double Wide, Three Links, Club DaDa, Trees, Black Cat Comics, Rubber Gloves schedules. Sons of Hermann will have occasionally have a rare hardcore show as well. Some hardcore adjacent stuff happens at Deep Ellum Art Co from time to time as well.

From my experience, the national movement shows out; bands like Knocked Loose, Kublai Khan, and Harm's Way drew massive crowds this year, and the crowd was nuts for those down the bill. Justice for the Damned and Speed had great crowds, too.

Follow Third String Productions and Parade of Flesh for bigger hardcore acts. Venues like Rubber gloves (denton), Tulips (fort worth) and a number of bigger bars in Deep Ellum that put on some good ones.

I’m not great with my distinction between sub genres, but growl records in Arlington has a bunch of shows, pretty small but lots of fun. I saw kind eyes there last year and it was a blast.

I went to a few shows with my sister 20 years ago 💀. I’m sure there’s a club somewhere that puts on these shows. Deep ellum has changed so much I don’t even know where they would be now. This post is no help

Wasn’t that the show where a security guard kept messing up the show? One of them would stage dive and when they’d get back on the stage, the security guard would start hauling them off like they were a fan lol. I think there’s still a video of it on YouTube.
