Places to get the new covid vaccine booster for 24-25 for free with no insurance?

I would like to get the booster, but can't afford to spend the $200 they want at cvs for the new vaccine. Anyone know of a local place that will administer them for free?

$200 for something that won’t do a thing… LOL.

Why is it necessary for you to bully people for inquiring about a vaccine for themselves that will never have any effect on your personal life? Are you struggling with something that you have yet to address with a mental health professional? JFC

LMFAO. Look in the mirror. You probably vote liberal.

Funny thing about that statement: That goes both ways.

It does, but you first. It’s only natural.

It's crazy that the vaccine costs ~3$ to produce, yet you are asked to pay 200$ for it. Even after considering all the necessary middleman's costs, like logistics and the nursery giving you the vaccine - 30$ will be over the top crazy.
Something is seriously broken. Even within the system of insurance etc - it shouldn't be like that. It is broken beyond the system setup.

I 100% agree. Democrats were going to make it free for people without insurance again by renewing the bridge program, but since Republicans got control of the House in the midterms they put a stop to helping anyone.
SnirD@reddit
Dont insert politics into it.Thats exactly the problem.
Making it "free" is as nonsense as making it 200$.
The democrats made a bullshit appeal they knew would fail, only to use it against the republicans.
Instead, reject politics as everyone is evil in them - a good management, regardless of politics, should have made it 30$ as it is in many other countries.
Damn. That makes me angry. You drank the politics Kool aid and instead of focusing on solution, they successfully made you make this an "us vs them" issue.
one_is_enough@reddit
Only one party is promoting socialized healthcare, which is how those “many other countries” provide these for $30. Just because your Kool-Aid is a different flavor doesn’t mean you’re always right.

There's the Collin County immunization clinic, but I have no idea how much vaccine they are buying. https://www.collincountytx.gov/Services/Health-Care-Services/immunizations
So far, they still say it's $0 for the COVID vaccine for uninsured adults. You need an appointment, and have to go to McKinney. There is an application form for the vaccine.

Please check out the hhs.gov site (Google hhs.gov COVID-19 Care for Uninsured Individuals)
and you should be able to find some good resources!

Thanks, will check that out!

You're going to hate this but the vaccines were free prior to Aigust. Looks like you just missed it. BUT it appears hhs still has some stuff to help pay for it.

Collin County has a Health Care Services department and they might be able to help, or refer you somewhere.
I would also recommend speaking with a primary care physician. The recommendations being given now are drastically different than they were even a year ago – particularly for people in your age demographic.
Best of luck and be well.
