When you’re sat on the pan at work and you need to fart, do you try to be as quiet as possible in fear of the opposite sex hearing in the adjacent toilet? Or do you hold nothing back and let it rip?

I’ve never heard anyone let it rip at work so my colleagues definitely fall into the former, as do I. Also, not to be weird but the soundproofing isn’t the best, you could hear piss hitting the water, as well as people talking, but not enough to make out what’s being said. Letting it rip in a pan would definitely be heard next door. I’d probably get away with letting rip when stood at the urinal because there would be no pan to echo it, instead my boxers/ trousers would muffle the sound, but pan rips are far too risky in my office.
