I stumbled on this site today, it's pretty cool. It has a deepfake detector, and lots of other interesting tools. It looks a lot like Mastodon, but with extra added features. It's open source and anyone can download it on desktop or Android.

I'm gonna call this out as a blatant lie. There are right leaning and left leaning individuals there, as well as hard liberals. Hard right folks don't tend to fare well on Counter Social. There are several different views there, and some folks clash. The difference between CS and other social media is that they remember how to "respetfully disagree." There are MANY LGBT people on the CS platform without fear of being trolled by 'phobic idealologies. You're free to have your own opinions. Yes, they are quick to deal with trolls and spammers. Very quick.

IF you were ever on CS, my guess is that you were one who was delt with quickly.

My experience with CounterSocial was pretty negative. I was tossed off the site for posting unpopular pro-Palestinian and gender critical feminist comments. And tossed off quite abruptly. Then they kept taking my monthly donation processed through Patreon, at the time. If your interest is mainly pet and nature pics you'll like it. It's motto is basically "Every day is Caturday!"

Yes, I have, and let's start with the fact that it is owned and run by a vigilante hacker that goes by the name of Jester Actual (@th3j35t3r). He is extremely controversial and has broken federal laws such as the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act by hacking into systems of foreign entities that are adverse to the United States. I am somewhat surprised the FBI, and federal prosecutors have not, as of yet, hunted him down. Waging cyber war and/or hacking of foreign and domestic adversarial entities is the responsibility of the federal government, not him.

I would steer clear of any social network concocted by a controversial person or groups who are anonymous.
