How to kindly tell my in-laws that they are too old to accompany us to Oasis?

My husband is an Oasis fan, so when the news broke about their reunion, it was a done deal that we were going to go.
His parents are both in their 70s and haven't been to a gig in ages, but have sent us a message today, saying they want to go there with us. Neither of them is an Oasis fan, but all their younger friends are going and they are riding the hype.
We don't want to go with them because 1) we will want to drink, 2) that gig will be uncomfortable and they cannot stand for extended periods of time, and 3) it'll most likely be quite messy and they are overestimating their tolerance to a proper mess.
Do you have any advice for how to let them down gently? I'm way too German to not offend them and my husband is the avoiding type.
