New rig won’t boot past bios.

I’ve got a completely new rig, and I finally got it to boot only for it to refuse to boot to the windows USB. I’m using a tomahawk b550 from msi and it’s on version E7C91AMS.270
I didn’t do anything special on the usb except for formatting it to FAT32. Last rig I built I just plugged it in and it went right into bios.
A thought I had was it’s cause I’m trying windows 11 instead of 10 but cpu is 5600x so I don’t think that would hinder it.

Did you fix it? I'm having the same issue now. Won't boot old windows. Won't run windows install from USB. Bios recognized SSD and usb. I'm left with the option of updating bios. But bios also recognized CPU and all specs. My bios version is the same as yours, and I can't find it anywhere listed.

Yes, i formatted my storage drives then plugged my usb back into the pc with a fresh install of windows 10 (not 11) then went through usual steps and it worked. Issue I had was my drives had some old data stored which conteracted my windows download, and the windows 11 download I was using needed more ram than I had. Windows 10 is just easier all arround and I don’t think I’ll be upgrading👎

What did you use to make the windows 11 install usb? You should have used the tool downloaded from option 2 on this page: https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/software-download/windows11

When I’m setting it up do I need to run it on the pc I just downloaded it on? I was using a Mac and it said it couldn’t so I figured that ment wait till I put it in my new rig to run it.

You need to load windows onto the usb using that program I linked. You can't use a mac to do that.

I’ve used them all🫠

Latest bios? Does the bios see the drive?
