What are the opening lyrics on Gillette advert?

First off, I hate the advert, I find to song so annoying.
Maybe the worst is that they lyrics that open it sound like the singer is gargling cotten wool.
"Isa loh la, minto oh tar, you've come so far."
I feel they didn't bother writing an opening line and just mumbled something.

Tom Grennan is actually a really good singer. I’ve seen him live a few times, seems a decent spud as well. I think you can hear the lyrics quite clearly to be honest.

I hate this so much and actively avoid buying anything from Gillette because of it. And so do lots of people I know. It’s soooooo sooooo bad.

Gillette would be delighted to know that the advert is so successful(?) & causes such a reaction, bad attention is better than no attention. I saw Tom Grennan on NMTBC the other day, he said people are always singing that advert at him (if they know the words)

This ad is horrendous, especially for the U.K. market.
Would be better to have Jason Statham just silently shaving his 5pm shadow. No song, no music, just ASMR shaving with the blade handle as the only prop.

I can't believe how this has stayed going, the most recent reply was 11 days ago.
I feel like all this anger and hate could be harnessed into some kind of Fight Club style group, we could all unite and do morally questionable things until we finally bring down destroy the modern economic system in order to avoid ever having anyone sing that Gillete is the best a man can get.

I've notice there is a new edit of it. The guy spends sometime in a restaurant of cafe with a woman, and at some point he laughs, the throws his head back.
I thought it couldn't get worse, but that little movement is so unnatural, the laugh/smile is so fake I hate it even more.

None of us in my house could understand most of the lyrics despite hearing it waaaay too often. The whole thing is so damn cringy too!

I was hoping to see it during the afternoon football match, but didn't catch it.
I feel like there are too many sylable in the line though and the singer would have to stress the 'king'. Could it be 'You look so good, you look so sharp, you've come so far.'? If its 'looking good...looking sharp' then I will just have just swapped not understaning the lyrics for being annoyed by the clunky 'first draft' feel of the lyrics.

Thing I hate the most is some years ago, they used "lift and cut" as a good thing the multibladed razor did. Now they are saying its a bad thing. I remember these things!

Oh, the actual selling point of the product makes no sense to me. I'm old enough to remember when 2 blades on a razer was cutting edge tec. Nowadays I think it's gel, rubber to life, 4 blades, balm and the razer head is taller than it is wide.
