Can you park at Crawley station for gatwick airport?

Has anybody parked at Crawley station or three bridges station for a week when flying from Gatwick? Seems you can buy a week pass for £36 and a return train takes 5mins and is only £5. Just can't stomach paying £100 to still be parked miles from the airport.

It might be worth getting a quote from the Cambridge Hotel if you haven't already. The cheapest Gatwick off site parking by quite a long way in my experience with on demand shuttle buses. (Gatwick cambridge hotel).

I am from Crawley and I would not leave my car at Crawley station for a week, no.

Yes, both. The station car park is in the centre of town and completely exposed.

This station car park is more hidden (ie; it's off the main road and isn't in the centre of town), so make of that what you will. I am unsure about the security aspect, airport parking is (in theory, but it's all hit and miss) probably more secure but you could chance Three Bridges. Gatwick is only one stop along the trainline from there too.

People park on the street in Horley around the corner from the station. It was free when I lived there 6 years ago.

You'd be dependent on the trains. I've had only good experiences with valet parking at Gatwick - phone when you get off the plane, your car is in the car park adjacent to Arrivals when you get there. There's always deals available.

I've just paid £125 for a week at Gatwick with valet service. Thought that was extortionate tbf.

I've paid as little as £65, which I figured was OK given all the alternative options. It's about the only time I've found work discount schemes worth having. It may have gone up, but it still beats making the family take the train at 5am (actually we only did it last time because WizzAir changed the time on our flight to make check-in be before the first train arrived. Never take WizzAir).
