This is how I became the number one hero… bro was the number one hero for a single day. “He became a legend criminals fear like Batman” bro had like 5 very public fights then disappeared. No one is convincing me that my opinion as a fan isn’t valid because I spent an arm and leg buying every volume.
To be entirely fair, there's a news recording of the man going to-to-toe with the villain that defeated All Might. Even if that's his only recorded fight, knowing that someone like that exists is enough to have a long lasting societal impact.
Aye, like the obvious exaggeration/hyperbole aside… the ending is still a bit of a downer. At best his friends make him a suit as some sort of pity parade… hell i think it would have been cooler with Deku being some sort of “guy in the chair”, you know what initially made him a hero (his extensive knowledge).
I haven't read the manga myself, but apparently the suit (same type that all might apparently used previously) costs a fortune. Like All might had to spend his whole fortune to it. So it could be that everyone of his friends was saving up to it, and that's why it took so long.
I read it, and that's exactly why it took so long. It took twenty top heroes eight years to fund the R&D for something that is a fraction of a fraction of what he could do with One For All.
I will die on the hill that may would’ve been so much more interesting if Izuku didn’t get a quirk at all and became more or less Marvel’s Taskmaster by copying and adapting to other people’s fighting moves like he did in the first episode against the pile of cum
Everyone became adults basically. You will not marry your high school sweetheart. You will not have your dream job, but neither you will flip burgers. Yes, this is the last time you and your friends got together and played Quake. Welcome to midlife.
I didnt really follow mha, but whats up with manga authors writing insanely shit/disappointing endings? Aot, Tokyo revengers, mha, the promised neverland, erased...
Even then i don't recall FMA ever going beyond just killing the leadership. It never addressed the fact that their government was a facist junta where mercenaries, police, and alchemists are all branches of the military government.
I actually really enjoyed Demon Slayers' ending for the most part. The last minute demon transformation and conclusion was weird but I enjoyed how they weren't afraid to kill off characters.
Backlash against naruto and bleach ending made every new mangaka a fucking pussy to write conclusive ending like closing romance subplot. Author probably doesn't want to get dragged on by shipper if they confirm deku with someone so he intentionally let if vague if they're dating or not. TL;DR Shippers ruin everything.
Promised neverland was forced to be rushed. The anime was announced before the Manga was finished, so ultimately the author was pressured into having an ending before the first season of the anime was finished so they can have an ending for the second season. I liked the ending, but it was rushed.
It's just trolls getting some high quality ammo. A lot of MHA fans are young and self insert them into deku, so trolls make the cuck memes to get a rise out of them.
MHA would have been more interesting with Deku being the key strategist guy while still being quirkless. I didnt watch past mid- season 4, but I really liked the parts where deku used his intelligence, wish that was more incorporated (If it is ,forgive me, I havent seen past what I have)
When I first started the anime, I was expecting him to be the only powerless hero competing against other students. I was very disappointed when they gave him powers.
The sad thing is that that was his gimmick in the first draft, the guy was supposed to go against powered individuals with makeshift gadgets, batman style.
Welcome to the manga industry. Editors are power tripping assholes. Failed mangaka themselves who think they're hot shit. Every manga has this issue. Naruto was supposed to be the child of the ninetails. Nope, change it. The seven swordsmen backstory was supposed to be part of the war. Nope. They even wanted him to end it on an even number. Hell, they didn't allow him to change Sakura for Hinata, and he wasn't even suppose to be orange, but a printing mistake made it so, and Jump doesn't make mistakes. Assassination Classroom also did that thing with a nice round number. And they make fun of that mini arc in the anime. The Foxy arc wasn't even supposed to be a thing but they wanted him to have a tournament arc. Luckily he's too big now and they don't want to touch him, and funnily he did do one in Dressrosa. Yu-Gi-Oh! had to change to a TCG manga from a general games slightly horror based one. Though Takahashi also saw money there so that one was probably at least mostly willing. These are only some of what we know, form assistants and mangakas leaking it, accidentally or not. There are many more examples like this, and who knows how many that we don't know about.
It had some hype fights, but that's it. The plot fell off even harder after the deconstruct guy with the mask got beaten, and then I kept reading it so I can appreciate when stuff is actually good.
Making Deku actually be goated was the biggest mistake, he should have always had to weigh using his power with recoil to do anything, making most of his fights be outplaying the opponent instead of full power nukes with nearly no repercussions
Honestly this is for the best. Let the series get meme'd into the ground so the creator gets humiliated and makes a chapter just to make things better.
Even if that doesn't happen at least the memes are funny af

Great anime to try and get friends into anime with because it isn’t completely filled with random pervy shit for no reason

The ending of dungeon meshi is also quite nice. All ending has to be written by woman now!!!
