Hello all, After consideration of the issue and quite a bit of back and forth amongst the Mod Team we have decided to participate in the Reddit blackout on June 12th. While we primarily take a hands-off approach to most things here and try to simply keep things on topic and kind, occasionally there are bigger issues that are worth getting involved in. The ability to use the platform that has created this community and allowed it to thrive is one such bigger issue. While we of the Mod Team don't all utilize the API or third party apps in the same way, we do appreciate it is a key part of the Reddit experience for many. Therefore we shall do our part in solidarity to preserve that experience in however we can. This choice was driven in no small part by the direct engagement from many of you asking if we'd be joining the blackout and speaking in support of it. As this is a community of all of us, and not simply those of us who moderate, we felt it wouldn't be right to ignore the continued requests for support. In that spirit of camaraderie and fellowship - the same we strive to foster for the aviation community - we will be shutting the sub down on June 12th at 00:00 to 24:00 on June 14, 2023. Thank you, The Mod Team
