Which language would you like to speak fluently tomorrow?

Japanese or Russian. I've started trying to learn new languages over the last 18 months or so and I have a decent grasp of quite a few European languages, but those two are so alien to me, I'd love to be able to understand them. I can speak conversational Norwegian to an okay level. Jeg snakker litt Norsk, både Bokmål og Nynorsk. Jeg prøver å lær Norsk fordi jeg gjerne vil bo der, kanskje i Ålesund og Bergen, jeg tror de er vakre steder. I know reasonable Spanish, though I've forgotten most of what I did in my Spanish GSCE. If I have the words written down or someone speaks humiliatingly slowly, I can understand them and awkwardly put together a reply. I can speak very basic Dutch (Ik spreken een beetje Nederlands), primitive German, tiny bits of Italian and French. I can at least translate those languages enough to understand them, even if I can't respond fluently. Knowing decent Norwegian means I can decipher a bit of Danish and Swedish too, they're not the same but they use similar grammar and syntax and a lot of the words are similar. Just with a different suffixes or they use their own specific diphthongs mainly. But languages that use entirely different alphabets/scripts are just so foreign, I tried learning the Japanese alphabet during the final lockdown and I have retained 0% of it. I just think it would be interesting to broaden my horizons and learn something outside of the Romance and West Germanic languages. Russian would make playing Geoguessr easier if nothing else.
