Has anyone else had problems with Wowcher?

I'm using it for the first time to book a night in a spa hotel. I just paid, got my Wowcher code... now I need to redeem it. INVALID VOUCHER CODE.
I try the redeem link they sent me... invalid link. Ahghhghhhh

Been ripped off twice by wowcher. Never use again, complete scam.

Honestly, most of the time I see something like a massage or something that isn't a physical item that I'm buying I will check from Wowcher or Groupon see the price, call that business and say I saw them on whichever one and see if they offer the same price as then the business especially if it's a smaller non chain business that's just trying to get it's name out there. And while charging less overall, for something that the business if good enough may make a repeat customer out of you or even if not doesn't they don't also get 40%+ go to Wowcher or Groupon.

I bought a spa day for my mum for Christmas. She was unwell and I wanted a treat for when she was better. It said the voucher was valid until September. Came to try to book a date last week and it now says expired and all the info for the offer and the spa company concerned has been deleted off my account and the site as a whole. I'm £90 down and can't find any way to prove the dates I was given.

I never used wowcher before but my go to is always buyagift! I find it every easy to use and you can choose what type of stay you would like also

I had to take them to small claims court after they fucked me round on a trip. They settled on the courthouse steps. Never go near them again.

I managed to sort out a refund. They are the hardest company to contact, though. I'll never use them again.

Yeah I stopped using them when a falconry voucher place kept cancelling the booking. After 3 cancellations I had to argue for my money back

They're so hard to contact, too!

They often have clauses meaning it can only be used on certain dates, or between Sunday - Thursday. Have you followed all the criteria stated?

I followed all I could, I just called the hotel and they have the booking but said I need to confirm it with Wowcher within 15 days. I'll have to contact the website. So confusing!!!
