Firearms Policy Coalition (FPC). How aware are people of the FPC? General opinions on it?

Just curious how aware people are of the FPC. I saw somons mention donating to the FPC in a comment on this sub earlier and a lot of people had no clue what it was (seemingly)-- this surprised me.
I think the FPC is pretty good, probably the best that I have personally come across.
What do you guys think of them?

FPC advocates, but it does so using alarming misinformation and inflammatory posts that rile its followers to dangerous levels. We are, last time I checked, still a nation of laws, but FPC doesn’t understand how to get laws changed. I dropped them permanently after a few weeks. I perhaps support some of their ultimate positions, but I fully reject their uninformed methods.

I think we are doing the work of the ant-gunners for them. None of the 2A orgs can do it alone, each is building their cases off of the other’s successes. FPC and GOA are only successful because of SAF and NRA cases like Bruen and McDonald.
FPC, GOA, NRA, and SAF are all equally needed.

I don't like them, they may be effective but their Twitter feed makes them seem like a bunch of immature assholes. It might appeal to more edgy millennials and Gen Z.

Gotta keep that lawsuit printer full of ink.

Absolute unit of a 2A org. Them and GOA are the two I donate to. Goa is like your tight laced parent who is well respected and teaches you morals and FPC is like your cool uncle who visits once a year and buys you beer when you’re underaged.
Blue-Ridge@reddit
And yells about how if you're old enough to join the military and vote for one fool or the other, you can have a goddamn beer!
karmareqsrgroupthink@reddit
And yet they are never hiring lol american suppressor association either

FPC is like your uncle who rocks a mullet

FPC is like your cool uncle who wears Jorts that are too tight and brings a stripper to family Christmas.

Lol perfect analogy
MaxHeadroom120@reddit
I give them the most 💰 and GOA the next. Fvck the NRA!
skoz2008@reddit
I talked about them my club meeting and nobody had ever heard of them. I said we should probably start donating to them instead of the NRA. And I started my argument that. And this was back in April. That they are aware of the new gun bill in Massachusetts that is in the works and that there lawsuit printers are warming up. I got a lot of weird looks
CleverHearts@reddit
FPC won't give your club grants or sell them cheap insurance like the NRA will, especially if you have 100% NRA membership in the club. I don't know the finances for every club, but at ours requiring NRA membership lets us reduce the annual membership cost by more than the cost of an annual NRA membership.
skoz2008@reddit
I'm not sure on that but I'm going to ask. We only have 200 members and it's like 60$ a year. But I wouldn't be surprised if we do. I'm probably also the youngest member
Limited_opsec@reddit
FPC is everything NRA should be in 2024 for the 2A, instead of a shitty fundraising pathetic joke.
FuckkPTSD@reddit
They’re amazing. I’m glad that I’ve discovered them thanks to Reddit.
DumbNTough@reddit
Aware and highly positive opinion.
Others talk, they get shit done.

FPC and GOA are the best out there. My employer does gift matching, so I make sure to donate to FPC’s 503c Foundation each year so that my employer doubles my gift. If you work for a big company, check to see if they do this. Free money to your favorite cause.
chronoglass@reddit
Fuck you no, never heard of em
EcoBlunderBrick123@reddit
FPC is the new Sheriff in town and the new generation of gun rights activism. You had a good run NRA time to die.
Crashing_Machines@reddit
Goa is great and fpc is too as long as you don't buy their merchandise. I got sent 2 different shirts in wrong sizes than what I had ordered. Absolutely zero customer service, I had to do a charge back and they never once responded to anything.
WeekendJail@reddit (OP)
Oh damn. I have one GOA & one FPC T-Shirt and had no issue with either. Good to know for the future, though.
Drew1231@reddit
NRA: maybe you can do a little tread. We will compromise and you can ban bump stocks:
FPC: Fuck you. No. and/or Lawsuit printer go brr.
They also have never sent me a fake ballot. SAF gets no more money because they do that dumb shit.
