Dell power brick electrical question

hey all, quick one. I got a bunch of these power bricks and the optiplex 7050 says the cord is under powering the pc and it will adjust performance. i tested the brick with a multi-meter and i'm getting 19.5v which will output 130w when multiplied by the amps of 6.7. anyone seen this before? electrically, i can't explain it.... What’s the context is this a bunch of adapters not working properly with a single 7050 or many adapters not working with many 7050s. If it is the ladder and they are all having this issue then either someone was awful abusive to the barrel jacks or you have something completely different going on. If it is many adapters doing this on a particular PC then your common denominator is the PC. In any case I don’t believe, without getting into higher end equipment such as an oscilloscope, you will be able to really test the data pin

a bunch of adapters not working with a 7050. other power adapters are fine on the pc. just 4 out of 10 are bad. they are refurb'd units. kinda sucks how this center pin controls it all as the voltage is fine on them. i hate to trash equipment for something silly like this, but if i ignore the warning, the pc runs at .80 ghz rather than 3.3

I got ya yea that does suck and eliminates the PC. It is dumb how dell has it configured and you are correct the bios will limit the clocks to 800mhz if it detects what it thinks is a bad adapter. Wish I could be of more help but unfortunately sounds like they are paper weights now

Yall ever seen a Dell reduce its CPU frequency down to pathetic speeds when the power supply isn’t working right? I was like “0.8GHz… wtf is this?!” Lol

I edited the post, however the problem seems to be the center pin as the voltage is correct. It seems the center pin is a communications channel
