Fat Pilot hard to find work?

This is very good advice. If you don’t think it’s “that bad”, it is. I’ve struggled with my weight my entire life, I was always able to start a hard diet or exercise regiment, but keeping them going was nearly impossible. I’ve finally got my weight under control and it’s because of two things: diet and exercise. Diet: I used to eat like shit. Raising Cane’s every day, milkshakes, cookies, you name it. What made that even worse was that I had no portion control. I wouldn’t get 4 chicken fingers, I’d get seven, plus extra sauce and toast. I’d buy a half gallon of ice cream from the store and finish it within the week. Felt like shit all the time and looked like shit. My saving grace here was the app [Noom](https://apps.apple.com/app/id634598719). It’s super easy to use and teaches some basic things about nutrition. I 100% recommend starting there. Their basic concept is nothing is off limits, so that was really helpful for me. Exercise: My problem with exercise is actually going to the gym, just getting myself up to go is still hard for me. I started with a peloton, but it doesn’t require you to show up, so after it “lost its new”, I stopped using it. You sign up for a class and if you cancel within 8 hours, there’s a cancellation fee. This was great because I’m typically highly motivated after working out or the day before I want to and I never wanted to pay the cancellation fee. It’s relatively expensive, but there are other similar options out there that can help you stay accountable. The key is starting small with everything. I used to be an athlete so it was hard for me to understand that my body can’t perform at the same level that it could while I was in high school and college. Also take it day by day. Trying to commit to something for a year is hard, but saying “I can do this again tomorrow” is easy. I’m sure this wasn’t advice you were looking for, but I hope you take this seriously. You’ll feel better and be happier in your body, not to mention you won’t be scared every time you go to see your AME!
