The Lighter side of Jamie

I am watching the episode where A & J are making rockets using metal beaten into shape with rockets attached. In full scale Jamies fails but he says "it was fun though lets do it again!" with a massive grin on his face. Jamie is always seen as the super serious of the two and its so nice seeing moments like this, what are yours?

Whenever he's testing his tornado suit against an airplanes engine. He's going crazy in there going "YEAAAH THIS IS INTENSE YEEEEAAHHHH BRING IT ON THAT ALL YOU GOT" whilr he's getting blaster with 180mph winds.

When he gets out he's all excited and happy and he shakes his head making his cheeks go crazy and you can just see how much he enjoyed that

I love when he goes “This just has me…all worked up”. For some reason it makes my heart swell up. To see such a stoic guy moved to excitement by…damn I can’t remember exactly what they were doing but I think it was something fairly dangerous like the card throwing machine.

Hehe actually it was just a big block of aluminium for the homemade jetpack in episode 32.

"Jamie and Adam visted the junkyard visit to pickup some alumininum and iron to build the pack. They both lusted after a large block of aluminum"

I knew it when I read it that it was something ridiculous and not dangerous, so I had to research a little bit cause its been a while since I saw the episode last time. But whenever I do its awesome seeing Jamie and Adam all giddy over something so anti climactic hehe.

Jamie in the early seasons was a lot more fun. I think they edited him later on to make him more serious. Which sucks because I'm sure he loved doing all those crazy builds.

But my favorite moment is the classic, "When in doubt: C4."

I think the earlier seasons were less scripted, and more relaxed. As the show became more successful, that went away.

The person to ask would be Adam via his Tested Q&A sessions. I’m sure he could shed some light on that, if he hasn’t already.

It probably had both, tbf. No one knew what the show should be or how long it would last.

It didn't hammer out its tone and characters took like the third season.

My first guess was Archimedes death ray, but now I don't think that's it.

I found https://www.quotes.net/show-quote/57212, claiming the quote was from an episode in 2004, and the episode involved exploding aerosol cans. That sounds like 2004's "Myths Revisited" episode, where one of the revisited myths was "Leaving a can of aerosol spray or cola inside a hot car can cause it to explode."

We have a foster kitty atm who barely meows. He’s very timid, probably from neglect and abuse, poor thing. We call him Ducky bc he follows us around all day for reassurance.

My husband was giving him treats the other day and was trying to get him to ask for them. Nothin’. Finally he goes, “quack, damn you” and kitty let out the cutest little squeak! It was precious and kitty got all the treats.
