Have you ever delivered an absolute belter of a joke by mistake?

For context my mate stimms and when he’s stimming he looks a bit like he’s doing an impression of w@nking. Anyway it was brought up in front of everyone and it was obviously uncomfortable for him. He very clearly didn’t want to discuss it. So I tried to help by saying “I do the same kind of thing but I save it for when I’m on my own” Everyone just started dying with laughter including my mate that stimms. The worst thing was, I was trying to have a serious conversation.

Best joke I have heard in the wild was accidentally said. Was walking towards the pyramids in Egypt and a bloke walking the other way said “be careful it’s a fair ol’ walk’ His northern accent made it pharaoh

Was on the beach yesterday with my girlfriend, her mum, and some close family friends. My girlfriend’s mum has worsening health conditions and has been trying to claim benefits over the last few years but hasn’t been having much luck, but her health is making it harder for her to work. We were packing up at the beach and she was struggling to stand up, and it just slipped out where I joked “Don’t worry, you don’t have to pretend, you can get up, the DWP aren’t watching you here!” I didn’t even think it was that funny but everybody was in stitches with it
