Does anybody know of any good news apps for UK news?

As the title stays In looking for a good news apps., anybody have any good suggestions? BBC has just grown annoying. I customise my interests but despite living in the central belt of Scotland I'll get 40 fucking breaking news notifications for English local elections. Oh someone in Sommerset lost their seat? I don't care. I don't need breaking news updates for minor members of the royal families bowel movements. Just get inundated with stuff I don't care about that isn't worthy of a push notification. Meanwhile there's a mass stabbing and BBC seems nothing. Oh and Google is MUCH better at relevant stuff I'm interested in but it's 90% clickbait. Any good suggestions?

I use the BBC news app, and I just turned notifications off because I dislike notifications in general.
