Cove Data Protection - what’s the catch?

I’ve been looking for an all-in-one cloud data backup and recovery solution for our small-mid size org and I stumbled across N-Able’s product “Cove Data Protection.” From everything I’ve read and seen so far, it seems like it fits every single criteria I was looking for. That’s the problem though, it seems too good to be true. I haven’t gotten pricing yet, so should I expect to be put into a sticker shock induced coma, or is it really just a solid product that happens to fit my every wish? Anyone with first hand experience with the software have a pros/cons list for me?

It works well and pricing is not terribly bad. The catch is that you have to deal with N-Able and that can be a challenge. In the past few years it seems like they have reduced support staff and increased sales staff. Support request take ages to get resolved but sales staff are on you like vultures. A few months ago I asked about a adding an N-Able product to our mix so my account rep set up a call. When I got on the call I was ambushed with a sales manager and two product sales specialists along with my rep. What followed was an comically high pressure sales lecture on a completely different product. Been with N-Able for a long time and it was never like this before.

Hey David with N-able here, if you have concerns with support I'm happy to look into those, we have actually continued to increase our support staff globally in the organization as fast as we can, but as you all face the pressure of labor scarcity so do we at time. And to be clear, nAble is a long standing company with a kitchen sink of MSP products, and a while back they acquired Cove to add yet another product to their portfolio.
