Can we collectively stop with the “you’re too young to know about” jokes?

“You’re too young to know about Pink Floyd.” “Back in the olden days, we had these things called newspapers.” “You wouldn’t know what a rotary phone is.”
It’s gross coming from any generation. I think it annoys me so much because I was raised by a narcissistic main-character Boomer who *constantly* reminded me how amazing her generation was and how much we sucked. I never want to be that dismissive to anyone. I was born in ‘71 and I know about the Beatles. Hell, I know about Glen Miller. My teenage kid is into Bowie and Jeff Buckley.
Let’s just stop. It’s never funny.
