Not confused at all. KFOR has never worked (and should never work) against Kosovo Serbs. They have consistently, since 1999, supported minorities in Kosovo with language learning, school supplies, other trainings, provided security etc. It is just that in Serbia you see less of this.

Im not surprised about that - just it’s a bizarre situation that’s all 😁

No, Serbs from Kosovo never had a problem with KFOR but with so called Kosovo police and special forces and of course Kurti... Fight that escalated couple days ago happened because somebody either from KFOR or so called Kosovo police tried to pull one of the Serbs from crowd into their space and then shit erupted. I heard that Serbs there have a great relationship with Hungarian, Greek and Italian KFOR, but unfortunately shit happens.

I understand but this is a very bizarre situation.

What's confusing about this? Unexpected, somewhat. I wouldn't say confusing

It’s confusing because protestors put 30 of these guys into hospital a week before. It’s confusing because it is unorthodox behavior in a tense situation. 🤷🏻

Yeah, but the comment where the Western powers backed our side to a large extent were after that, Vučić meeting Zelensky, also yesterday openly agreeing to supply ammo to Ukraine. Apart from that incident, and apart from the story they're running on Happy, I think Vučić is trying to not piss off the West. As in, if Kurti goes crazy we probably have to rely on the good will of KFOR and he knows that.

Vucic never said he is supplying ammo to Ukraine, you should read article on Financial Times not just title. He said he is selling ammunition to countries just like before war, but these countries may or may not sell them later to Ukraine, Serbia does not give ammunition or weapons either to Ukraine or to Russia. And regarding Vucic meeting Zelensky, what does that have to do with anything? They met on EU summit lol

He's just massaging the fact that he is selling to Ukraine. This was common knowledge even last year, we had a plane crash with ammo meant for Ukraine and other incidents. Then when the pro-Russian opposition started protesting, documents were leaked which said it was happening, Zakharova asked for a comment, Vučić said it's fake. Like damn, the whole Krušik affair (big deal here a few years ago) was precisely us supplying weapons to Ukraine (and Saudi, and Azerbaijan and whatnot). This is just him saying "yeah we're selling but there's a middle man". Yeah, they met at the EU and friends summit (European Political Community). First time they met since the beginning of the war. That's a big deal, since we're going back and forth over who we're friends with in general.

You are drawing your own desired conclusions based on what he said. Bottom of the line is that Serbia is selling ammunition and weapons to foreign countries just like before everything, there is always a contract that states that weapons received must not be sold to third party (Ukraine, Russia) but of course some of these ammunition still get there, and that's what Vucic said, now sure you can draw conclusions that you want from that. Affair Krusik was based on Serbia selling weapons to countries like Poland which then transferred it to Ukraine with or without approval of Serbia, as the fact that Serbia is directly selling to Ukraine or Russia is not valid even when we speak about Krusik affair. Yes they met on EU summit, talked for 3 minutes in front of cameras and that is probably it. 1 week before that summit, Vucic sent Vulin to attend Moscow security conference which included contries that are biggest Russian allies. So who are we friends with? Answer to that is just like 1 year ago, we are sitting in two chairs, have cordial relationship both with EU and Russia, attend all their important events, do not sell directly do Ukraine or Russia any kind of weapons or ammunition even though via third parties anything can get pass to into any of these conflicted countries, from Poland to Ukraine, from Azerbaijan to Russia etc...

We agree on the facts and disagree on the conclusions. Partly just based on the ways both sides are presenting it (as you said, FT article, in particular the title). I wouldn't call it my desired conclusion btw, I'd rather the West turned against Vučić than get chummy with him, but for the sake of Serbs remaining in the north of Kosovo maybe it's for the best.

I agree with you 100% that i would rather see West turn on Vucic than be friends with him, because if they become friends with him, we will never see end of his dictatorship in Serbia, he will rule as long as fucking Milo. When it comes to Kosovo future of our Serbs there is bad, it does not matter whether Vucic is best friend with them or not, he can suck Biden dick personally, at the end of the day US is looking at their own interest, and their own interest is for Kosovo to stay their colony, slowly expel people who are against Kosovo government (Serbs) and that's it. All this BS that US is saying we are gonna sanction Kosovo, Kurti etc are just bunch of hilarious statements. They are not gonna do anything, they are looking at their own interest from military and economic aspect and that is all. I mean Gabriel Escobar just yesterday said that community of Serbian municipalities needs to be established so Serbia can lose control of Northern part of Kosovo.

Serbia supplying ammo to Ukraine? The fuck...

I had a discussion with another user in these comments. Vučić was always selling through middle men (Poland, the plane crash I mentioned was last July and it was going through Greece). He's always playing the balancing game. Yesterday FT had an article which was promoted by Western pundits all around the internet which says pretty much that, and that we won't stop it from going to Ukraine since we remain neutral.

KFOR is a NATO mission, their position towards the Serbian community in Kosovo will be strongly influenced by the position leading NATO countries have toward Serbia.
