For scramble eggs yep. Small electric stove, non-stick pan. I got olive oil and black pepper too. You only need a few minutes and bam! You got you’re lunch. I use it while engine is running.

Oatmeal, milk, orange juice, grapes or celery peanut butter combo in the morning. Protein bar, sliced bell peppers, water, sugar free monster through the day. Carb ( rice or pasta) and some type of meat for dinner. Whatever I feel like cooking. When I was otr, if I had to go in for food, I'd grab a salad or cold wrap/sandwich. I kept a lot of tuna packets with fajita wraps, spinach, mayo, Tabasco as a back up. Doesn't take much to be healthier, healthier foods may not always taste as good, but you're eating it for the gains not the taste.

I don't eat lunch. I eat when I am hungry, which seems to be about every 25 minutes. Fortunately, I make a pot of rice, chicken and broccoli ( with onion soup mix for seasoning) in my truck when I start my shift. I just eat a couple of bites every 25 minutes and by the end of the night it's usually gone, but not always. Started driving 6 years ago and weighed 187. I weigh 186 today. BTW, I freaking love my job.

Im out 2 days before returning to the terminal. Before I go out, usually Longhorn/outback, Mexican, Japanese, bojangles, cookout, or wendys. Sometimes, I'll make something myself if I'm feeling ambitious, but I usually save cooking for dinner. Whatever is leftover for dinner is tomorrow's lunch while I'm out, and I'll stop at a truckstop somewhere on the way back for whatever.

damn. home daily linehaul here. typically something fast food beforehand. if it’s the right place like panda express or del taco, i’ll get extra to save as a lunch for later. my furthest stop is usually where i take my 30. i try to keep some decent ramens on hand as a backup if i didn’t bring something from prior to shift start, and hit up the vending machine for a microwave sandwich/hot pocket/burrito before i head back. not good, i know. but i’m not much of a cook and still adjusting to living on my own a year after divorce. also have a weirdly good metabolism for 32 so very lean in my build despite my sedentary career

If I can’t cook up a bunch of chicken then I’ll get some deli turkey and a rottiserie chicken. I’ll debone it and take the skin off and use that as meat. I use hi fiber lo carb wraps with hummus or guacamole cups and lettuce and make wraps. I’ll get some Dave’s bread for turkey sands w mustard. Keep apples and almonds and a shit to of seltzer water. Usually have some rice cakes, carrots, celery and some kind of bean chips and almonds and chick pea snacks. Still have a gut btw but can eat as much of that stuff as I want.

View on Reddit #31513661

I eat once a day. Before I start my clock. And I eat only beef preferably fat laden beef cooked with.bacon. I eat until I am completely full and satiated. Occasionally chicken but with twice the bacon. I drink water with 25% of my full intake mixed with 5% sodium electrolyte mixes. Boiled eggs are about the only thing I eat if I am absolutely not going to make it to my next meal the next day. Occasionally, I can’t eat all of the meat that I cook and I might eat it later, but I don’t go past 3 to 4 hours from the initial feeding. I stay awake all day with absolutely no need for naps and I maintain a very comfortable ideal weight. The only thing I really cheat on occasionally from this carnivore diet is coffee, with only a slight amount of milk. If you’re even thinking about doing this as a strict diet, I will advise one thing and one thing only. That you start this diet when you were not driving or you have about 3 to 4 days at home. The carnivore flu sucks badly but once you’re over it, you’re home free. And also one of the reasons why I eat only beef and not pork or other types of meats is because the first couple of times I made it to the point of getting the flu. It was bad like really, really bad. Beef typically does not give that same effect once your gut biomes level out.

Bamfurlough@reddit

I'm curious, how old are you and what does your blood work look like?
View on Reddit #31507988

FlamingoAlert7032@reddit

Will say this. I had blood work done (well we had to get it done per wife’s doc orders) as soon as wife became pregnant because we were not in anyway expecting it to happen at all after trying for a while. I had the doctors in Thailand send off a sample to some lab in the UK to do tests that weren’t required by the government for general pregnancy and disease related illnesses within the mother or father. I never asked specifics but was told my T levels were in the avg for someone 20 years younger. Cholesterol was normal even for the amount of fats I was eating but that’s where all my energy stores were coming from. I stopped taking all vitamins and haven’t had a single vitamin or daily supplement in probably close to two years now. Diet was initially for severe inflammation in hands and shoulder from old oilfield injuries as well as weight gain issues from general eating habits while OTR. My hands would not open/close after 8-10 hrs of driving. Would wake up unable to open them. 2 months into the diet with no cheating it went away as well as a lot of the other aches and pains I was having. I stopped wasting money on caffeine gum and 5 hour energy. I wasn’t much of a fan at first of eating only one meal per day but wanted to try it out from some of the other people I have been watching on YouTube and after a while, my body just adjusted to it.

View on Reddit #31508634

Bamfurlough@reddit

I've varied quite a bit over the course of my almost 20 years Trucking career. I used to eat a fair amount of fast food, however since acquiring my fridge and air fryer I've gotten a lot healthier. Right now lunch is often hummus with flatbread and fresh vegetables, or I will make up some sort of meat and cheese plate for myself often times with fruit or fermented vegetables like pickled carrots or actual pickles. Sometimes I will cook up myself sort of an egg bake with fresh vegetables and potatoes.
