100E Bus Ticket

I need to get the bus 100E later to the airport. I will be getting on near District V. I’m abit confused, do I buy a single ticket or airport shuttle bus ticket?

You can buy it on the bus itself as well, that line has a pay&go system, you can just tap your card (or other device that has your card information) as you board.

Yes, it’s the same, 2500 forint now I believe.

You need to buy a special ticket for 2,200 HUF. I Googled “BKK 100E” and this was the first result: https://bkk.hu/en/travel-information/airport-express/

You need to buy the ticket specifically for the 100E (Airport Shuttle Express) which is 2200 HUF. It can be bought in advance or upon boarding (card with NFC function only).
