GPU no signal only after RESTART

Hello guys, so i just installed a new rx 6750xt (xfx)
-pc boots fine
-games smooth
-temperatures normal
but if i try to restart the pc the the monitor stays black and GPU POST light stays on (the pc continues to windows but no signal on monitor), i first noticed this after insalling the driver and hitting restart. it also happend before instaling the driver.
i tried :
-Clear CMOS
-BIOS update (lastest)
-reseating and checking cables
Please help me if you can (much appreciated)

If anyone sees this in the future, and having the same problem, reseat your gpu to the pcie socket, make sure it's all the way in!

I was having an issue where when I did a restart it wouldnt output from the GPU but from the CPU. It only booted from the GPU when it was shutdown. What fixed it was disabling EXPO. I have no idea what that has to do with anything but it worked. Hope it helps someone !

Sadly I had to disabled Expo and that fixed it, never enabled it again xD

I have the same issue with my 4070TI and a ASUS ROG strix b650e-e motherboard.
White QLED stays on after restart or after save and reset in bios. I can hear windows starting sound, only I have no signal. Have to shut down the pc and start again to work.

Yeah I had to reseat the GPU it was not all the way in the PCI socket, that caused the problem.

Thank you! I have the same gpu and motherboard (but mini itx version) I doubt that that’s my case but thank you anyway. I’ll try to reseat it

Having this issue with my 9070xt. It was working fine and then I changed expo profile from 1 to 2, DID NOT SAVE, put it back on expo 1, and that's when my issue started. Pc was running this profile fine up until now. Any ideas?

Old thread, but I’ll add what worked for me just in case it helps others in the future. If your GPU has a selectable BIOS (I.e OC and Silent mode) try switching it, that worked for me.

Any updates to any of this? Lol. Have this issue only with a soft reset. I can hard power it down and on and it boots. Going to try reseating the gpu and ram but I doubt that’ll fix it .

Well this issue disappeared completely for me after i switched to R7 5700x (from R7 3700x)
