so watching 2005, and watched duct tape bridge and you can see they have found their look and it was very polished.
the video shooting style was nicer, even the colors didnt have the hideous yellow/amber cast it had a few seasons back
im guessing also going HD made a difference.
really enjoying the newer ones.

Man what is with some of those shots in the early seasons where it looks like they are wearing fake tan?!
So yellow.
Bizarre.

The years with Kari, Grant and Tory are the best for me.

Any scotti or jessi was garbage.

She was awesome, not sure if she is from Cali but she certainly gave off Cali vibes and energy

yes, for sure. they have good harmony together

They literally had a night where they tested if it was possible to polish dung, another idiom taken literally. then they brought that guy in who told them about the obscure Japanese tradition of mud polishing. Because apparently Japanese would polish balls of mud for fun.

But if they didn't eat more pierogies are they really polish

See I much prefer the first few seasons where it just felt like watching two dudes build shit.

Part of mythbusters glory was the raw, home-brew feel. I personally felt the increased production value over time added unnecessary fluff to the show. But loved it regardless.

Currently watching episodes on youtube, and i agree. Ironically the intro-sketches going away probably cut costs (a tiny bit but still) but feels like it was done to increase production value (replaced it with "action shots")
