SOL is up-what now?

The SOL on my almost six figure loan has finally come and gone. It passed quietly and without incident. Is that it? If they’re going to tax me, when will that happen? Is there also some sort of SOL on that?

Be careful. They may still try to collect from you and if you acknowledge the debt is yours, it can restart SOL. I recommend you look at the rules pertaining to this. I don't fully remember them, but I know there were ways this could happen. It's been years since I had to look at this info tho

Will do! I haven’t actually hear from them in about a year or two, and don’t plan on answering any calls. I’ve also warned my co-signer. I believe I read in MA that verbal communications don’t actually restart the clock, but I can’t remember for sure. I only intend to respond if they try to sue me.
