Friendly neighbourhood Cat keeps coming in garden. I don’t mind but it has done its business a few times. Is there any thing I can do to stop it from entering from the fence next door?

it's tricky to stop it comin in at all - if it is your fence you could potentially put anto cat spikes on the top of it , and cehck there are no holes. alternatively - there are products designed to deter cats and other animals pooing on your garden - in my experience 'get off my garden' (citron smelling gel) works pretty well for most cats, but you have to use a lot and it doesn't last for long, expecially if it is wet) I found using ffesh grapefruit peel was very efective - the skin d thicker than most othercitrus fruits so it lasts a whicle, and is quite strong scented, and you can pick it up and put it in the compst afterwards. (If you like grafruit, bonus! ) other citrus peel works too but grapfruit is best. You can also buy dried lion poo which is supposed to work by making the ca t think there is a much bigger, scarier cat around, but I haven't tried it so can't comment on whether it is effective. If it is using the same area all the time, focus on that - remove as much of the mess as you can and water the area with a solution or water and lemon juice, or sprinkle biological washing powder over the area . For smaller areas and garden beds thn making it lessa accessible - by putting down crushed agg shells, sharp gravel, or even things like dried twigs / teaels etc may help mny making the soft earth less easy to access. If you catch it in the act, a water pistol, or shouting at it, may be quite effective - mostly cats only go where they feel safe
