My plan is to restore the car, that restoration just being paint, source some clean wheel covers, restore the turn signals, then put new badges on it.

Apparently you have never driven or ridden a Sundance. ......fucking AWFUL. It was a hoopdie off the lot. Just like the plymouth horizon or k-car. Its not classic and never will be. Full stop.

Nice! I just picked up a one owner 1994 Sundance with the 2.2 5 speed in it. Needs a little love but it’s fun whipping around

Congrats on the new to you ride, that combo of engine and transmission is a recipe for a very fun reliable daily. Sadly sold my car 4-5 months ago, might buy it back since I miss it so much. But I hope you have alot of fun with your sundance, and may it give you many trouble free miles :)
