How accurate is Clarkson’s Farm compared to the average farm/farmer?

He is obviously playing up for the camera, but have you ever dealt with cattle? Not to mention sheep - they're satanic. Back to cattle, the limousin breed (originally from SW France) are stone cold psychopaths, but they produce a lot of meat so have become more common over the years. Cattle will sometimes want to get away from you if they feel that something unpleasant is going to happen - vet visit etc. But they will literally try and get away from you, however a limousin will try and get away from you by going through you! I didn't until I was visiting my Dad in Ireland and was giving him a hand rounding up his herd of about 20 mixed breed cattle. Anyway, we found them a few miles from the house , but the herd got split as we were walking back, half to the left of a lake, the other half to the right, so we separated and each followed a half of the herd. The lake is a hundred yards wide and several hundred yards long. I had the doyen of the herd at the head of my group and her yearling calf was with my Dad's. As we advance she and the "calf" are calling back and forth and getting more and more agitated, thinking they're being separated forever and oblivious to the fact that they'll be back together in a few hundred yards. Things come to a head when bellowing as if possessed by a demon she jumps in the lake and starts swimming across. I'm gobsmacked. The rest of my group then decide they need to get to the other side of the lake via terra firma and arc around me (no limousins see) follow the shore and regroup on the other side. So you are probably thinking that my Dad can now just drive the whole herd back. Wrong. They have officially been spooked and take off back in the direction of where we found them. As my Dad didn't have any dogs at this time we abandoned the attempt, as when they get in a state like this and you don't have dogs that can head them off they will just keep advancing in front of you ad infinitum.
