The Nissan Juke-R. Only 5 were made by Nissan. It has a 600HP engine from the Nissan GTR and costs £400,000

I don't think you're allowed to sell a car called the Jew Car.
hoteloneseven@reddit
In the UAE TOO LOL
mortalcrawad66@reddit
It actually uses a GTR chassis, but with a modified Juke body to fit on it
JPDLD@reddit
I wonder who bought this
NotTheSharpestPenciI@reddit
I would if I had spare 400k
Fluid_Use6428@reddit
I love my 2016.
ThePandaKingdom@reddit
If i had enough money to justify buying such a thing, it would be near the top of my list of dumb things to buy. I very much enjoy silly feats of engineering.
ser-1-@reddit (OP)
2/5 of them were bought by one guy in the UAE. Another one was bought by someone in Germany. The other 2 were purchased by other people who were rich enough to spend £400K on a Juke.
mvxillv@reddit
Applewood Performance Centre in Langley, BC claims to have one of them.
MeetingPale9803@reddit
There is one at the Nürburgring in the laptime museum
alonesomestreet@reddit
IIRC, #5 was sold half assembled, basically as a parts kit.
improbablydrunknlw@reddit
Iirc it was a sheikh if some Arab country, and he was the one who actually asked Nissan to make them.
uchigaytana@reddit
Is anyone surprised?
eyeb4lls@reddit
I believe they shortened the chassis as well
Away_Investment_8950@reddit
Here it is in the states. https://www.facebook.com/share/r/19yrFb1LN9/

Update: YouTube
Yeetus_McSendit@reddit
Could you imagine spending £400,000 on a Nissan Juke?
Camarupim@reddit
You do wonder who they built this for. “Marketing has identified 16 Nissan collector obsessives with bottomless pockets…”
B_Roland@reddit
If I remember correctly, they built a concept car just for fun/PR purposes, and it created quite a buzz, making some people with deep pockets push them to build them. And eventually, they did.
shart-gallery@reddit
Love this. Wish more brands were making these unique franken-models to keep enthusiasts excited. Sadly only the uber-rich can own these cars, but we win just by knowing it exists lol
lambusad0@reddit
sorry for necro.
check the new Renault 5 Turbo 3e. idk why they made it 540 hp
B_Roland@reddit
True, however I think the Nismo version of the Juke, that was a lot more affordable and some people in this thread have talked about owning, may have followed from this concept car / these 5 cars and the buzz around them. So the 'normal' people also got something from it. Pretty cool.
shart-gallery@reddit
I didn't know about the Nismo Juke. That's awesome!
scottishblakk@reddit
It was on Top Gear and they showcased it as a proper GTR. Keep in mind those days a standard GTR was a supercar killer, and its tech was insane (still is). It was an easy sell for sure.
B_Roland@reddit
The GTR for sure. This not so much I'd imagine. It is essentially the same car at 3 times the price. But it's unique, so selling a couple was probably easy.
Troikus@reddit
This is the only way you’d get me to buy a Juke and even then I can’t guarantee it.
lord_satellite@reddit
I drove a Juke for a while and it's A LOT of fun. Small, nimble, great in traffic. And, for some reason, its existence pissed off the oversized truck class, who would repeatedly cut me off or try and race me.
I liked the looks, though. Like a mutant Mini Cooper.
Bamres@reddit
I never thought it was specifically very ugly. I think it's weird but way more unique than any other small crossover
Aislin2476@reddit
I think Jukes are quirky looking in the way old VW Beetles are. I love mine.
edgemaster191@reddit
I leased a 2014 Juke and I loved it! It was white and looked like a stormtrooper helmet.
Tons of fun and decent in the snow. Shame the engines are so hard to get parts for and the transmissions are so fragile, I may have kept it if they were more reliable.
ButtholeQuiver@reddit
I've never driven one but I always liked how it looked too, but I have a bias for weird-looking cars
StereoTypo@reddit
I always liked the quirky little T-Rex-head-looking Juke.
3amGreenCoffee@reddit
Despite how ungodly ugly it is, it's truly a great car for daily driving. It has a tight turning radius, is extremely maneuverable and has great AWD road manners. It feels a lot more sporty than its size and cargo capacity deserves.
I absolutely hated them until I got assigned one as a rental. By the end of that week, I was seriously considering buying one.
thumper300zx2@reddit
I feel like that is so many people. I was interested until I saw they had a color matching gear box inside...that was 10 years ago. :P But I got a NISMO last month and I freaking love it. And my other car is a 1991 300zx Twin Turbo :P
notthemessiah789@reddit
Agreed. Worst car I’ve ever driven.
uchigaytana@reddit
I'd honestly rather just have a GTR
dicrydin@reddit
I can 100% guarantee I will never buy a £400,000 Juke.
brockington@reddit
I had a Nismo Juke for like 8 months. It was a blast to drive, even though it was a bit of an eye-sore.
ShuhadakuOfUriel@reddit
If I somehow won the lottery, this is probably the first car I want. But I don't think I could get.
GamerCTrains57@reddit
I hate Nissan Jukes on their own
thedriver_44@reddit
Still the ugliest car in the world at present
JDP6693@reddit
Comparatively the PT Cruiser has aged like fine wine. The Juke will age like guacamole that wasn't made right from the beginning.
Phantompooper03@reddit
I use the words “fuck ugly” exclusively to describe it.
JulianH00ligan@reddit
I call it the Puke because it’s horrid
notthemessiah789@reddit
Nissan Joke.
Arkhaloid@reddit
I actually like these things.
Zachbnonymous@reddit
I'd drive the hell out of this thing lol
tgrantt@reddit
I love Jukes, other than the lack of legroom in the back seat.
alonesomestreet@reddit
We had #5 at our track a few weeks back. It’s like a frog on wheels. But a fast frog.

GreggAlan@reddit
I've always called these hideous things the Joke.
AVgreencup@reddit
Why not just buy the GTR? It's like taking an LS7 from the Z06 and putting it in a Chevy Trax, and charging $400k.
task283@reddit
I've got a juke nismo and it's crazy fun to drive. It's a great small car for thrashing around country roads. Low insurance and loads of spares
billiarddaddy@reddit
I had no idea this existed. Always thought that car had more potential though.
redbiteX1@reddit
Why not a Lamborghini instead? 100k would be expensive toy
DariusPumpkinRex@reddit
Nissan's own Aztek.
Reddsoldier@reddit
This would be an extremely funny Q-Car to whip out.
WrightOff@reddit
What car does a Rabbi drive? A Juke R
youragasmanjohn@reddit
Ugly horrible evil bastard of a thing
Grothorious@reddit
Nissan puke 🤣
Jokes aside, back light looks like a toucan.
girthquake1000@reddit
Like a modern Pulsar GTI-R
wivac@reddit
I'd love to know what pharmaceuticals they were on to come up with the 'problem ' that a 600hp Juke 'solves'.
MGU--H@reddit
What the fitment
Away-Squirrel2881@reddit
I can’t imagine who would buy that, some eccentric millionaire
barelyevening@reddit
oh my g-d I'm so glad I never had to work on one of these. it sounds like a nightmare
