Hey guys so i have given my all with this but they are adamant. I have explained all of this the best i can but they have ignored my pleas to not do this and how horrible of an idea this is so sadly now i have to ask you all... Due to an incompetent yes man of an IT Manager we have now decided to move from our 4 different data center locations down to 1 in the owners of the companies basement. There are around 20 servers we are moving and he is willing to spend an undisclosed amount on the project. What are some things i should be considering outside of the ISP needing a circuit that will never go down in a neighborhood Cooling for all these servers Somehow getting a vpn connection in his house Networking equipment strong enough to handle more than 20 people on his network at a time. His home electric bill being high Clearly we are a small company of around 100 people but this is insane to me. Yes before you ask the main reason were leaving is that the cloud has gotten too expensive.
