Can i use 90% denatured ethyl alcohol instead of isopropyl alcohol to clean thermal paste off the cpu?

I'm asking this cause everyone seems to prefer isopropyl alcohol or normal ethyl alcohol, i dont really know what the "denatured" part adds to ethyl alcohol and i dont want to risk losing my cpu or mobo.

I know I'm 13 days late but, I did use it and it was perfectly fine. Used it with a cotton swab and then waited for it to dry
