Which cars are surprisingly capable off-road?

Some cars are way more capable off-road than they are given credit for. For me, one example of this is the previous gen Cadillac Escalade. With the G80 and transfer case they are surprisingly good off-road.

late to this, but my shitty base 2013 subaru impreza AWD was a BEAST on some trails we have here in the northeast. I knew nothing about off-roading and just took that thing anywhere. didn’t even know it was supposed to bottom out and fail miserably until after i traded it in 10 years later 🤣
