ULPT request - Fireworks- wondering how to get fireworks for the 4th of July in a state that doesn’t sell them.

Last year drove up through state that sold them (West Virginia) on my way to the northeast. Family had a blast when we lit them off- totally safe, responsible adults, no burn ban, etc. would love to know any thoughts on how to get them - neighboring states have ok fireworks but rather have the legit ones- any underground networks or shipping methods?

Wish it were that easy here- Unfortunately the state troopers go cross border and use unmarked cars to observe purchases made by customers and radio their plate and car description to police back in my home state to pull over and ticket and confiscate.

We drive a little further into the state to buy fireworks. Helps to buy em earlier too, not week before the 4th. Either way, I've never been too concerned.

When I lived in California there was a local guy who would take orders, then drive to a state that sold great ones, and drive back with like 20-30k worth of fireworks. There are a lot of fireworks stores right over the boarder in some states. He didn’t necessarily profit, but I think his were just paid for.
