Anyone using a KVM switch? Specifically TESmart?

Curious if anyone has used TESmart's KVM switches, and whether they perform well.

I have a 1440p ultrawide single monitor, which I switch between several devices: home desktop (i7 13700k, 3080FE), school laptop, work laptop, occasionally a console. As you can imagine, swapping several cables for all of my peripherals (keyboard, mouse, webcam) gets a bit tedious and stops me from keeping it all tidy.

The TESmart KVM has 4 switchable inputs and an audio output, and has EDID emulation so that each device doesn't think I disconnected the monitor when I swap what is displayed. They claim 4k@60hz, so it should be more than enough to run my display.

My main concern is video latency. I play games on the desktop, and I could see the addition of a "middle man" between the GPU and the monitor causing issues. I could bypass this by keeping it plugged into the monitor and just using the KVM for peripherals if it becomes a problem.

Anyone have one of these, and has it worked well?
