Are Python Institute certifications such as PCAP and PCPP worth a damn?

Has anybody found them valuable to help them get a job? I don't even know anyone who has one.

Selection depends on multiple factors. Your skills, communication, confidence, presentation, qualification , previous work experience in similar projects ( domain) and so on. Certifications may help in shortlisting over some other candidate if both of you have similar profiles. But ultimately it is on how well you answer and your expertise is seen on the questions asked.

No. They might even hurt. Only certification worth anything have to do with where the code is deployed. Cloud and Linux. Some places don’t care about that, but it’s been a huge plus for me. Places that care about security will value basic security certification
