The Cowboys Stadium in Arlington has reached half of it's life span.

It sort of is. It's the biggest one with no form of city/state/government of some kind public mass transit. It does have a city sponsored microtransit program (that costs more than some damn bus lines would😒) and the college in downtown provides a form of public transit to students (although technically anyone can get on it since they don't ID or anything), but the places it's routed to is only important/useful for students living on campus or near campus, so no one really does. Personally though, I'm not too upset at it because arlington is making progress. Not in public transit, but in walkability. Public transit in places that aren't walkable is almost useless, so arlington is actually taking the steps to create an environment where public transit might be able to thrive, or at the very least be somewhat competitive with driving. It's got a long way to go, but it's improving. 10 years ago I wouldn't expect anyone to walk in arlington, even downtown. Now, i regularly see at least a couple of pedestrians downtown, and often a decent bit more than just a couple. And, its downtown is rapidly expanding, with large emphasis placed on walkability and pedestrian priority. Theres also talk of pedestrianizing large parts of the entertainment district, as mixed use dense development is rapidly happening in the district. Once there's more than one area in the city where you don't need a car to get around, hopefully another vote on public transit will happen
