Best GPU for i7-9700k

Hi,
I'm looking to, in the future, upgrade my PC. Currently, here is a list of my parts: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Pk4kRv
For those who are lazy, I'll summarise: i7-9700k @ 3.6GHz (I OCed to 5.0GHz) EVGA GTX 1070 8GB 32GB (2x16) Corsair Vengeance Pro 3200MHz NZXT x62 280mm cooler ASUS Z390-F Corsair CP-9020103 CW650m (I think that was the name, anyway it's 650W bronze) Can't find the case anywhere as the guy I bought the PC from got it in Qatar.
My monitor is the BenQ Xl2720z, 27" 144Hz 1080p.
I can run every game I have very well, which is why I'm not desperate to upgrade, however I want to do so in the next year or so.
I wanted to get the 3070 but heard that it'll bottleneck horrendously on 1080p. I am looking to upgrade to a 1440p monitor soon, but in the case that I don't end up with one and stick with 1080p I want something that'll be fine on that resolution.
I know that the 2060 and 2060 Super is a good fit but I can find 3060 Ti's for similar prices. At the end of the day I'm looking for a card I'll be able to keep for a few years (I'm not expecting to keep my other parts for another few years, I'm looking to upgrade my mobo before my GPU and also know I'll have to change out my CPU in a bit.)
Budget doesn't matter as I'll be able to save up over the year.
Thanks :)

Would an Arc b580 pair well with a 9700kf. I’m on a z390 mobo

It depends on the resolution, but at 4k, I don't think the 9700k would bottleneck anything, not even the upcoming 4090. I could be wrong though. I have a 10700 and am planning on getting a 4090. I hope it doesn't bottle neck.

As a person currently running a i7 9700k and a 4060ti this is not true at all the CPU creates a pretty significant bottle neck especially at 1440p.

i got a i7-9700k and finding im at 100% cpu usage and around 90% gpu usage when playing games like cod (on massively low settings btw). You wouldn't recommend me upgrading to a 4090?
New-Audience2639@reddit
If you don't have th money or ability to get a new mobo I would recommend you get a good 30 series card or 4060 TI and even that is over kill for the CPU.

3080ti pairs well with my overclocked 9700k at 1440p.
New-Audience2639@reddit
NO! Do NOT get a 4090 EVER! If anything gets a 4070 super at MOST your CPU is going to bottleneck anything 40 series to death nearly. Especially if the board is only PCIe 3.0. You are going to want to get a DDR5 newer gen mobo, CPU, RAM and SSD before a new GPU. Or keep what you have and get a 4060 ti 16gb. It will still be bottlenecked but you will get all the 40 series upgrades like DLSS 3. A 4090 would be a gigantic waste of money for you.

Sadly the 9700k isn't as good as you might think. My friend just got a 6800xt for his 9700k and the cpu is bottlenecking hard even on 1440p (cpu fully on 100%, Gpu chilling at 60%)
Sea-Jackfruit-136@reddit
Do you think a 6700xt would bottleneck? 1080p or 1440p
LilScuffo@reddit
I know this is a year late but with an i7 9700k I wouldn’t recommend going with anything above a 2080 super besides it being a little older it still out performs the 4060 by a bit (not ti) you can use pc builder to test what gpu goes well with your cpu but I wouldn’t recommend anything that bottlenecks your cpu past 15-20 percent more affordable option would be 4060 you won’t lose out on much power compared to a 2080 super and you’ll save $100 I tried throwing a 7900xt in my pc with a i7 9700k and it didn’t go so well but I didn’t understand bottlenecks or anything of that sort😭

Where do i go on the pc builder to test the compatability for bottlenecking specifically

Do you think the i7-9700K is compatible with a B360M Xtreme (basically the B360M Pro4) mobo?
AlekThe@reddit
On ASRock's website it states that the B360M Pro4 supports intel 8th and 9th gen processors, meaning that it is the second version of the LGA1151 socket, aka compatible.
It is important for people building systems with the LGA1151 socket to check wheter they have the first or the second version. If you want to use Windows 11 with an intel cpu, then you'd have to at least an 8th gen, as that is where support starts.
deseymour@reddit
My current mobo is the HP 8653, so I'm stuck with using 9th gen intel processors.
I am also looking for an upgrade, for the GTX 1660.

Same boat I’m in rn what did you end up doing?
Creepy_Abrocoma4315@reddit
With a 5700xt run well in 1080p?
Defiant_Help7329@reddit
Yes.
