Do you consider people who have a quiet weekend lazy?

In my opinion girls are pushed harder academically and boys are pushed harder in sports. But ultimately, sports become a hobby for most rather than something "productive". Girls aged 15-17 spend nearly *twice* the amount of daily time cooking/cleaning/running errands compared to boys the same age. There are also known gender biases around expectations in schooling - girls are expected to be better at reading but worse at maths. Studies show that teachers will expect this even with children that don't fit that pattern (ie girls who excel in maths). Girls are taught from a young age that they are expected to work in the home and clean/cook/care for others. Boys learn that they should be playing sports. The gaps continue into adulthood and in most cis het couples the woman will do significantly more of the work in the home (cleaning/cooking/laundry/caring for children) even if both partners work. This is well established. So, yes I truly believe that women and girls are socialised to be productive and this means they relax less then men and boys.
