What's with the AM5 motherboard DDR5 RAM issues?

I'm planning on building my first PC. My configuration will be a Ryzen 5 7600X and a Asus TUF Gaming B650M-PLUS WIFI motherboard for it as well as Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR5 5200MHz 32GB 2x16GB CL40 RAM.
I decided to check if any other people tried this motherboard and their opinions. Turns out many of them had issues with the DDR5 RAM and not able to get any image on screen. Naturally I searched for other AM5 motherboards but I find people having similar issues.
I don't know what to make of it, I thought it was as simple as building the PC, changing some settings on the BIOS and you're good to go. However, I see people trying all sorts of stuff I have no clue about, like changing voltages to *try* get it to work.
Are these problems common in AM5? Are they getting fixed through BIOS updates? Or am I just paranoid?

It seems like they were. Doesn’t seem like they are now. I’ve had 0 issues.
Kinda. I think people are just missing this bios option though.
Last person here that I interacted with, that had boot issues, enabled that option. Then their issue cleared up. I have it enabled and have seen 0 issues. All mobo brands have a similar setting.

For my particular Asus mobo I remember someone fixing the problem by enabling the Memory Context Restore you mentioned, thanks for clearing it up

Happy to help. I hate seeing people worried about this specific problem.

Hi, I've seen some threads about this memory issue recently. I'm planning on building an AM5 build as well with 4x32gb ddr5 ram. Am I still at risk though

Help me :S

A MAJOR issue that I had with this is that there is another setting called power down mode that must be enabled with memory context restore.
If memory context restore is enabled and power down mode is off, then if there is an interrupt in AC power (even while the pc is shut off) then afterward the RAM will be unstable (endless BSOD while booting into windows and even freezing in bios after a few seconds).
I had to CMOS reset and ensure that both memory context restore and power down mode were enabled, and now it works fine.

Dont buy AMD, wish i could go back in time, 2 motherboards, 3 kits of ram, still a lot of issues, i spent 3500eur on a pc thats just electrical waste...

Nah, you gotta be doing something wrong if you had that many motherboard and ram go bad lmao

Wrong AM5 boards are dog shit with ddr5 ram. I had to try 3 different types that were listed on b650 aours elite ax compatibility list before it worked with my Ryzen 7 7800x3d. Never had this issue with AM3 or AM4 building previous PCs.

I built 5 am5 systems with budget to mid range boards from different vendors.....none of them have had any issues with expo profile ram...
No clue what you are doing fam! Mb your PSU is shot
Pursueth@reddit
AM3 and AM4 boards aren't DDR5. DDR5 is buggy in general.

Ultimate Gaming PCs run on 1 stick of RAM.
Bluedot55@reddit
That was largely with the lower quality ddr5 6000 on early bios versions afaik. Memory stability has gotten better with recent bios updates

The memory settings will still fuck shut up if setup wrong

What is the latest status here guys? I'm reading various comments and post all over the internet about this, but all of them at least 6 months old. So how is the situation?
Btw, I'm looking forward to get the following build:
I'd mainly use it for game development, so I'm thinking about 2 x 48 GB. (Then I still have the possibility to get 2 more later it thing get fixed) OR would it make make sense to go for 4 x 32 GB? I found a pretty good deal recently for a Kingston Fury.
