Why does my car pull left?

So I bought a car and it has had a pull to the left and the steering feels quite heavy. I've replaced the power steering pump with a brand new one and had a wheel alignment done and it hasn't helped. To keep the car straight the wheel has to be turned to the right slightly. Ive had it mentioned that it could be the strut tops... does that sound right? Anything else that its likely to be? Car is a 2010 ford falcon XR6 (aussie car). Cheers :)
