Admin suddenly receiving copies of emails in Exchange Online

Over the past few days, I've suddenly started receiving copies (BCC?) of some incoming, bulk emails in our M365 environment. I ran a message trace and it shows the emails to the other recipients didn't trigger a mail rule (we have about 20 of those), and no other actions were taken. I haven't changed any spam or phishing policies. The email I receive is basically the original email, sent to another recipient in our organization, and I'm not in the to, cc, or bcc fields. The headers don't have anything useful, either. Anyone else experiencing this?

That's the default behavior for suspected spam. Admin receives a copy. Check your spam policies. Not sure why it would have started all of the sudden.

Thanks, I checked the anti-spam policy and found that "test" rules were set to BCC my email. I've had this set for years but only recently started receiving a lot of these emails. Weird. Maybe it's just a coincidence.

I complained to MS years ago that these emails should be stamped with "Spam" or some other identifier, but nothing has ever been done about it to my knowledge.
