ios development without a mac?

So basically I'm in college and I do own a mac, but it just turned off all of a sudden and hasn't turned back on since then and that was a couple of days ago, I'm pretty sure it's completely done for, I have access to a linux laptop but I was wondering if there's any way I can still code using swiftUI or Objective-C on them, I realize it's impossible to test the app on a real iphone like that but I've heard there are some swift emulators and stuff for non-mac machines, does anyone have a workflow for this that actually works? I know I can install a virtual machine but the overhead of the entirety of macos on my machine is a bit too much space for me if I can avoid it.
