Our only democratic ally- as if America or our “democratic” allies are somehow a beacon of morality in the world, give me a break. Was the war in Iraq an example of this moral democracy in action? Invading a foreign country that never attacked us, torturing prisoners and killing a million people while spending trillions of dollars in the process? So no I don’t buy the propaganda you believe that America only acts out of the kindness of our hearts and so do our allies. You’d have to be pretty dense to believe that. Furthermore- our blank check support of Israel damages our national security as it causes basically the entirety of the middle east to dislike and even hate us- how does that help our national security? Imagine if the reverse were true, and we were totally neutral on Israel- and instead of giving them money- we built stronger economic partnerships with middle eastern countries. Israel has money and our countries 34+ trillion im debt. They can fight their own wars with their own money. But if you want to personally send them your own money, knock yourself out! It does nothing to make me safer, or anyone else I know.
