Gotta call around and find someone who will insure you. This is one of the many reasons why you shouldn't buy a car with a rebuilt or salvage titled car unless it's for a track car or parts.

Yea im gonna do that first thing tmr, it seems like they get brought pretty often. Im usually scouting on the fb market and always see those rebuilt titled vehicles sold quickly,so someones gotta be insuring em ik they wouldnt mind another costumer right…. And im sure age plays a part as well

I recently bought a rebuilt car and there was no problem insuring it. In Michigan. I called the insurance company before I bought the car

Did you ever find insurance for the car ?

Age definitely plays a part as well. Don't be surprised if you have a difficult time getting anything other than liability insurance, and even that may be tricky.

Life is difficult….

Well, you can make it less difficult by buying a clean titled car lol. Less potential future headaches down the line too with the car itself.

I would disagree with this though I have only owned one rebuilt title car. The car was totaled at about 30k miles. When I bought the car it had 68k on it. If the car has made it that far after the rebuild I have confidence it will last a lot longer. I also found the auction pics online and it didn't really look like an insane amount of damage. I got the car for my daughter and I drove it around for a while before she got it and I almost kept it for myself (2018 limited outback, 3.6l)

Imo it's a roll of the dice buying one. Some turn out to be solid cars, while others can be absolute basket cases.

I got the car for probably 7k less than nearest similar car on the market... so the title is definitely price in

For sure, you can definitely find good deals on em

Depends where you are, in Canada for example is not really a problem to insure a rebuilt title, you got to call around and see who gives you best price and deal.

Depends kinda on the state from my understanding. I’ve bought tons of salvage titles where I live and shop around everytime for insurance and no one ever seems to care. I buy old vehicles though

Depends on the state and the insurance companies as some just won’t insure a rebuilt title. All you can do is call around for quotes.
