How rainy was this April in Dallas? Pretty rainy, but not the rainiest.

I'm only talking my neighborhood, and rainfall is extremely variable based on location, but I'm at 95% of the yearly DFW rainfall totals - so it's rained 31 inches in the past 5 months, and October is about the 3rd rainiest month in, so we are not done yet. If we just hit the medians, I'll be at about 50 inches.

Huh... if someone had asked me to guess I'd have guessed we got a bit more rain than normal but certainly not that this April was a top 10% rainiest April. We did get well over 2 inches from one storm on April 28, aside from that April had been very average.

I think it’s because it’s just been concentrated on weekends. We’ve been wanting to go to the renfair but haven’t had a dry weekend yet that we’ve been available

Sorry guys this one was on me. I got a new steam cleaner for my floors and kept cleaning up the mud my dogs tracked in because it was so easy with the steamer. That forces rain the following day to replenish the mud supply. I’ll clean more sparsely in the future

If you look at the supplied link: [https://www.weather.gov/fwd/dmoprecip](https://www.weather.gov/fwd/dmoprecip) you'll see a table of data... not a graph. I believe that the redditor who crafted the chart chose the incorrect representation of the timeline / graph and not the people at weather.gov. I belive you're curing the wrong party.
