Best remote assistance for windows and linux?

I have a linux dude helping me with my oracle server, he remotes to my windows pc and i load ssh or use portainer and he helps me with stuff so i can watch We tried rustdesk and [https://remotedesktop.google.com/home](https://remotedesktop.google.com/home) but he said its pretty laggy I am in San Diego/ Tijuana and he is in Vietnam Best options?  Thanks

Thinlinc is a great option if you want to access Linux desktop remotely.

RustDesk is a nice option if you exclusively need remote access. We usually handle remote through an RMM. We use VSA which works ok on linux and Mac.

I use RustDesk all the time it works great, out of the box it's going to be a bit laggy because they don't have a ton of funding for servers so they only have a few shared servers and I think they might be located in weird places around the world. I would advise you to setup your own rustdesk server and use that instead of the default ones. It's also more secure. https://rustdesk.com/docs/en/self-host/rustdesk-server-oss/install/

I thought the issue was that its going from me to the remote apps server and then to the other party and i would still have that same issue even if i self host on my oracle server Since i usec the chrome remote app i figured that would be a lot quicker due to google servers I thought i might need an app that did a direct connection with no server in the middle
